The Michael Fund | An Arthrogryposis (AMC) Charity
Anna Kiley brings The Michael Fund to the Whitefish Christmas Stroll in Montana'

Anna Kiley, a very close friend and philanthropist, took it upon herself to do an event for The Michael Fund in Whitefish, Montana. The annual Whitefish Chrismas Stroll is the kickoff to the holiday season. Locals and visitors alike dress up in their best holiday attire and take the streets to shop and socialize. Chestnuts are roasting on open fires, there are ice sculptures, carolers, a bell choir, miniature ponies with glitter in their tails, and horse drawn carriage rides. Store vendors serve hot cocoa and cookies while people check out their window displays, part of the annual window decorating contest. And of course, food and holiday crafts are for sale on the streets.

About The Michael Fund

Mission Statement

The Michael Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial support to families in need due to the mounting costs of therapy associated with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC).

How The Michael Fund Was Formed

At the end of 2008, a letter was written to friends and colleagues asking for support for the Utz family.  This letter inspired Steve and John Presser, with the support of their family and friends, to start The Michael Fund- a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  The charity was built to not only educate people about AMC, but also to financially support the therapy for families affected by the disorder.

AMC is considered a non-progressive disorder.  With physical therapy, the contractures frequently improve dramatically! With proper treatment, most children can make significant improvements in their activities of daily life, and live relatively normal lives.

Black and White Cocktail Gala and Silent Auction Fundraiser

Our next event is at the Gallaher Mansion, a luxurious 62-room, eighteenth century-style English fieldstone manor house located in the heart of Cranbury Park.
